Description single-breasted tunic-style coat of dark blue serge; standing collar fastened with two hook and eyes; black lining; coat closes with a flap containing concealed buttons; vericle opening/slit at each side of hip; trimmed with black mohair flat braid all around the bottom, the front edges, the collar,and along both side openings; the braid is 1 3/8" wide; each side opening has a concealed button at the top and a hook and eye 2 " from the bottom; on each side of the collar are the letters "U.S.V." made of gilt metal; bullion framed shoulder straps with yellow facing; each strap has 2 gold oak leaves; 2 inside pockets.
