Description |
tilting water set; silver plated; water pitcher (A) has a small metal extension on each side which allows it to set inside a silver frame (B) - allows it to tilt foward and back; base of frame is round and has a removeable shallow bowl (C) called a "slope;" attached to this base is another small solid, round base to hold a glass; pitcher, which tilts forward, is ornately engraved; inscribed on the front: "The Fremont Cultivator Co. to Mr. and Mrs. Brinkerhoff Dec. 14, 1882;" the enitr piece is engraved in a flower (rose) and leaf motif; hinged lid on water pitcher; ceramic lining inside; stamped on bottom of pitcher are the trademarks and "Silver plated Wilcox Mereden, Conn. 348 1/2" |
